Jalama Beach Park
rules and regulations
all vehicles must have a gate permit. this permit may be revoked without refund
for violation of park rules.

a 5 m.p.h. speed limit is strictly enforced. travel only on designated roads. no off
road vehicles to be operated in or around park. vehicles must be properly
equipped and operated by a licensed driver. watch for kids that don't.

camping is allowed in designated areas only. each site is limited to 2 vehicles and
8 people.
dumping of gray water or waste materials is strictly prohibited. please
use the dump station near the entrance of the park.

dayuse hours and fees apply from 6am to dark. anyone entering the park after
these hours will be charged a camping fee.

quiet time is 10pm to 8am. no generators, radios or other activities that would
distract neighboring campers is allowed.

home
fires are permitted in established pits or grills. fires are not to be left unattended, sparks and/or coals must
be under control within the pit or grill.
completely extinguish fire before leaving pit or grill.

all plants, animals, birds, reptiles and natural or archeaological resources are protected by law and may not be
collected, removed, damaged or injured. no person shall dig, cut, carve or burn any tree or plant.

pets must be restrained on a leash of 6' or less, or confined to vehicle or cage. owners are required to clean up
after their pets. vicious and/or noisy animals will not be allowed. owner must provide proof of rabies
innoculation.

only county employees may enter zones marked "closed area".

public nudity, abusive or indecent language or gestures, and disorderly assembly are strictly prohibited.
